The Work

You will review AI-generated Malay content and help improve its accuracy, clarity, and naturalness. You will also write strong reference answers and give clear feedback in English.

The work covers general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing. You may review single responses, compare multiple answers, or rewrite content to meet quality standards.

• Check Malay content for grammar, spelling, fluency, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Create prompts, responses, and gold-standard Malay answers.
• Compare AI responses and rank them for quality, safety, and instruction-following.
• Find mistranslations, awkward literal wording, register mismatches, ambiguity, and logical inconsistencies.
• Flag factual errors, misleading or unsafe content, bias, and policy-risk language.
• Write polished rewrites and explain the changes needed to improve an answer.

What It Pays and Takes

This is an intermediate-level, part-time contractor role for someone who enjoys careful language review, rewriting, and quality-focused AI evaluation.

• Pay: $20 USD per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Work setup: Remote contractor work across time zones.
• Eligible locations: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Timor-Leste.
• Languages: Fluent Malay and strong professional English for detailed written feedback.
• Background: Linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, literature, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: Writing, editing, localization, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, content quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Malay grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, register, and regional variation.
• You must be able to spot subtle meaning changes, awkward literal translations, and culturally mismatched phrasing.
