Job Type: Contract / Part-Time (Flexible Hours)
About the Role:
We are seeking a Neurologist to provide virtual care for patients involved in motor vehicle accidents, with a focus on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This role follows a structured care model—beginning with an initial consultation, followed by diagnostic review (EEG/brain imaging), and a final follow-up to guide treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial virtual neurological evaluations for TBI patients
Review diagnostic results (EEG, brain scans) once completed
Perform follow-up consultations to provide treatment recommendations
Develop clear, evidence-based neurological care plans
Collaborate with care teams and medical-legal stakeholders
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
Care Model: Structured 3-step patient journey:
Initial consultation
Diagnostic review (EEG/brain scan)
Follow-up treatment consultation
Up to 4 hours total engagement per patient
Requirements:
Board-certified/board-eligible Neurologist
Experience with TBI or post-traumatic neurological care preferred
Active state license (AZ preferred; additional states a plus)
Comfortable with telemedicine and documentation workflows
