Pay Rate: 20.50 an hour - Guaranteed Progression: 50-cent per hour increases at 90 days, 1 year, and annually thereafter for a total of 5 years, reaching the maximum rate at 5 years in this role. What We're Looking For: - Education: Associate's Degree (preferred but not required). - Experience: 6+ months of experience in a leadership or similar role. - Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and meet production goals. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and external partners. - Analytical skills to review reports and identify areas for improvement. - Experience with employee relations, including scheduling, timekeeping, performance management, and HR processes. - A strong understanding of operational standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift. - Capable of repeatedly lifting and moving pallets and materials, which may be heavy. - Requires good manual dexterity and tactile sensitivity for inspecting pallet condition. - Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions and safety alarms in a warehouse environment. - Excellent vision (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) for inspecting pallets and observing surroundings for safety. Work Environment: - While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in a warehouse environment. This may include exposure to dust, fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold), and moderate to high noise levels. Steel-toed boots and other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
