Work location: Alaska, USA (Kodiak, Naknek, Dutch Harbor, Cordova, Seward and other fishing regions).

Contract: from 4 to 8 months with the possibility of re-participation in the H-2B program in subsequent seasons.

Work schedule: 40–84 hours per week.

After 40 hours per week all subsequent hours are paid at 150% rate (Overtime).

Salary:

For fish processing plant workers:

• Base rate: 27.30 USD/hour

• Overtime rate: 40.95 USD/hour

For experienced workers, production line operators and technical staff:

• Base rate: 36.45 USD/hour

• Overtime rate: 54.68 USD/hour

Average earnings:

• from 6 500 to 13 000 USD per month

• during the high season earnings may exceed 13 000 USD per month depending on the number of hours worked
